Let’s sort out the wars in Congo, Sudan, and Ethiopia which have been raging for years among others. Charity must begin at home.

Lusaka, June 20 – Like I had predicted, the envoys Africa sent to Europe in an effort to broker some relative peace in the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine suffered one blow after another in the course of their mission.
Firstly, Polish border guard police detained the entire South African presidential security detail for 36 hours at the airport forcing the South African President to travel to Ukraine without his own bodyguards.
Secondly, the Ukrainian President, Zelenskyy, outrightly rejected the envoys peace proposal stating there will be no peace to talk about until Russia withdraws its forces from all Ukrainian land annexed since the war began in 2014.

Thirdly, while holding a meeting with Russia’s strong man, President Putin, and before our peace envoys could be allowed to finish making their peace presentations to him, president Putin interjected by telling them off that ” your understanding of the cause of this conflict is misguided by the western media reports. He then took charge of the discussion by beginning to explain the real reasons behind the conflict.
In fact, Putin stated it in no uncertain terms that the problem of Ukraine does not affect Africa.
In other words, Putin told our presidents that they were clueless, careless, and useless.
An effort in futility! Let’s sort out the wars in Congo, Sudan, and Ethiopia which have been raging for years among others. Charity must begin at home.

Putting news into perspective
Very embarrassing indeed.
It therefore means that no politician in Africa should use the war in Ukraine as an excuse .
It’s probably an art of polarised writing you may be attempting to do here Doc, however, these men have shown
concern, bravery, desire for peace and good leadership by attempting to have a word in calming the war. In essence, this may not end the war but at least has exposed what the two parties feel regarding the cause of their war which is a great step towards finding a solution.
I take a negative stance to your perspective on this matter and your resolve to decry their efforts. Further, peace talks may not finish the same day and the impact of their steps should not be underestimated.
Anyway, you may be writing to simply instigate a response from but if this truly divulge your innermost feeling over the matter then your reasoning on this ma this matter has fallen short of doctorly.
That’s why seeing some people come back smiling when their achievement was FAILURE and wasting tax payers money. The all trip was an embarrassment to Zambia and Africa at Large.
