“I wonder why the current First Lady, NGOCC, Women’s Lobby, NGOs are all quiet! The only consolation is that God El Roi is watching over her!” – Rev. Thabiso Tshili of Mme Esther Lungu’s persecution.
Lusaka, June 22 – The late President, Patrick Levy Mwanawasa, in the book written by Amos Malupenga and edited by Professor Fackson Banda, says:
“The problem Mr. Hichilema has is the fact that he wants to cheat, to mislead, to show that he is what he is not. His understanding of politics is that it doesn’t matter; you can cheat, provided you get your goals!” pages 211 – 212.

Is it not strange that a person who is at the centre of heightened political persecution in his country can go to Rwanda and speak of love and peace? This, unfortunately, is the true picture of the world we are living in today. As his brutal police officers leave Amb. Emmanuel Mwamba without a tooth, he can afford to say, “Hatred must have limits!”
Rev. Thabiso Tshili’s latest article is in the best possible position to put our narrative in the proper context as she points out the following…
“I was young and now old, yet when I was growing up, I never heard nor read about the happenings involving the former First Lady, Mme Esther Lungu.
It’s only in this regime where I am learning that being a First Lady and belonging to the First Family is a crime.
Did Betty Kaunda, Vera Chiluba, Maureen Mwanawasa, Thandiwe Banda and Christine Kaseba, go through what Esther Lungu is going through?
I can only imagine her sleepless nights, psychological torment, torture, the persecution and pain (feminine, womanhood and parenthoodwise) 😭😭. It’s so painful that I can feel it with her.
Am also wondering why the current First Lady, NGOCC, Women’s Lobby, NGOs are all quiet!
The only consolation is that God El Roi (who saw Haggar and Ishmael in the desert, and heard Hagar’s cry) is seeing her (them). He is watching over and hearing the cry of this 6th First Family.

I can’t sleep because the pain I feel is too much. I feel disturbed and my inner peace is reduced. Their burden is too heavy.
Lord have mercy and come through for this family.
Zambia is being divided and we are quiet. Zambia’s democracy is not there anymore and Govt wants everyone to shut their mouths up.
I understand why Christ said if they shut up their mouths, the stones will praise/worship Him. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
God never runs out of vessels.
Arise Women of valour, pray and intercede. Put on the whole armor of God and pray. Get on your knees for the 6th First Family.
Our God answers by fire! Let us Pray, Pray, Pray, Pray and Pray!!!”
