Lusaka, Sept. 18 – In a stunning turn of events, the current state of affairs within the party has revealed a truth that will leave your jaw on the floor. Brace yourselves, dear readers, for the shocking revelation that President Edgar Lungu should not be solely blamed for the chaos unfolding before our very eyes.

Yes, you heard it right, our dear President is not the sole architect of this grand symphony of mismanagement. It seems that all the candidates who were once vying for power have suddenly vanished into thin air, leaving the Zambian population scratching their heads in bewilderment.
But fear not, intrepid souls, for I have managed to uncover the secrets hidden beneath this inexplicable disappearance. It appears that these candidates, who initially paid hefty nomination fees, have silently withdrawn from the race, pleading with President Lungu to reclaim his throne. Can you believe it?
Our brave contenders, who once boasted about their unwavering determination to lead, are now reduced to groveling for President Lungu’s return. It’s a sight that would leave even the most seasoned political observers scratching their heads.
So, let us delve deeper into this murky tale. According to a highly confidential informant, President Lungu himself was reluctant to continue his reign, but it was the candidates and other party members who launched a full-scale charm offensive to persuade him otherwise.
They devised a master plan, the Alebwelelapo agenda, which involved appointing Honourable Raphael Nakachinda and playing a game of hide and seek with the public until their desired momentum was achieved. Apparently, they believed that with mounting public discontent, the ECL agenda would finally gain unstoppable traction.
Oh, the audacity! Those who are quick to point fingers at President Lungu may indeed be barking up the wrong tree. The real culprits here are the candidates themselves, who have displayed a collective cowardice that would make even the bravest heart tremble. Their lofty aspirations for leadership crumbled like a poorly baked cake when faced with the arduous task of financing their campaigns and managing the party’s affairs.
But, as our tale unfolds further, we stumble upon another thread of confusion. PF National Chairperson, Davies Chama, expressed his bewilderment at the recent appointments made by party Vice President, Given Lubinda. It seems that the party leaders are more lost than ever, lacking a clear direction and shifting focus like a group of confused tourists in a foreign land. Chama argues that it is high time they find President Lungu’s replacement, as the never-ending convention journey is leaving the Zambian public frustrated and uncertain.
Oh, dear readers, we find ourselves in a bizarre world where aspiring leaders abandon their dreams faster than a rat deserting a sinking ship. It begs the question, what happened to the once mighty contenders? Why have they vanished into thin air, leaving us all perplexed and yearning for answers?
It is time, my friends, for the implicated candidates to step forward and reveal the truth. I challenge them to refute the allegations presented in this article and confront their cowardice head-on. The Zambian people deserve transparency, honesty, and leaders who stand by their convictions.
And as we eagerly await their response, there is one brave soul who remains steadfast, the lone candidate determined to see the convention through. He boldly declares: that we must go to the convention.

As for the rest of the contenders in this race, they have shamelessly failed to inform the Zambian people of their incapability and lack of dedication to fight for the top position. They have vanished into oblivion, leaving behind a trail of broken promises and unanswered questions.”
Oh, what a grand spectacle this political circus has become! The Zambian public yearns for truth, clarity, and leaders who will not sell their birthrights for a seat at the table. Let the candidates respond, for the people demand answers and the satirical drama of Zambian politics continues to unfold.
