Lusaka, Oct. 25 – The Matero Lawmaker and the UPND have inadvertently exposed their vulnerabilities to the Zambian population, thereby highlighting the strength of the Patriotic Front (PF) as the main opposition party.
It is evident that the cries of the masses have been heard, and it is abundantly clear that people will not align themselves with a person like Miles Sampa. One important factor to consider is the potential consequences that the UPND and Miles Sampa could face if the elected officials refuse to support his political aspirations and existing structures within the party eject him.

This situation could create a void within the UPND, thus posing a significant challenge to their political influence and credibility moving forward. Moreover, the recent events surrounding the independence celebrations in various Districts have served as a turning point in Zambian politics.
With the overwhelming support and praise for the PF and other opposition political parties, while the UPND was met with disapproval, it becomes increasingly evident that the tide is shifting in favour of the PF.
The visible public endorsement of the PF by the vendors, women and children in full view of Central Province PS, Kabwe DC, Kabwe Central MP, senior government officials, and numerous others at the Railway Stadium in Kabwe signified a growing momentum for the PF in this significant political region of Zambia.
These recent events demonstrate a formidable challenge for the UPND and Miles Sampa. The public sentiment and support for the PF have never been stronger, making it increasingly difficult for the UPND to maintain their influence and credibility.

It is apparent that the PF’s strength as the main opposition party is prevailing, and with the changing political landscape, the aspirations of the UPND and Miles Sampa could face an uphill battle to regain relevance.
