Mazabuka, Jan. 24 – Two sisters from Makoye in Mazabuka are in Hospital after their ox cart overturned, leaving them injured.
The incident occurred on Tuesday morning near Makoye High School in Mwanachingwala Chiefdom as they were returning from their field.
An account from Esnart Malambo, an elder sister to the victims, reveals that the cattle pulling the ox cart went off the road, causing it to hit a tree, thereby overturning.

“It would be a waste of time to get the debt restructuring without creating the necessary production capacity in the country to repay the debts when the repayments are due!” – Nawakwi.
Malambo says one of the victims sustained a broken leg, with the other one complaining of internal body pain.
By the press-time, the dual was attended to at Mazabuka General Hospital and are receiving medical treatment.
