Lusaka, Feb. 27 – Kenyan President William Samoei Ruto writes recently posted on his Facebook wall:
“Kenya and Uganda are committed to the deepening of the long-established diplomatic and economic ties between our two countries. This relationship includes bringing all the seven East African Community nations closer in their ultimate goal to form the East African Political Federation.” he started.
“I had the pleasure of meeting President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni at his Kisozi country home in Uganda. We discussed critical issues that affect our two countries such as energy and petroleum. Also discussed was the declared candidacy of Kenya’s former Prime Minister Raila Odinga for the Africa Union Commission chairmanship,” he ended.

Our Comments: What Zambia needs is personal healing at all political leadership levels. The current hatred won’t take us anywhere! If anything former President Edgar Lungu has lamentably failed to be a solution to the childish behaviour by President Hichilema, having chosen revenge over reconciliation. The shallow debate on Alebwelelapo is motivated by hatred and revenge. This page will never support that agenda. If anything, we would rather see President Hichilema as Head of State than see the clueless Edgar Lungu get back the to State House.
