Lusaka, July 11 – Accepting reality does not mean endorsing it, but it’s the surest starting point to addressing most social and economic development challenges we are faced with. In the Bible, we see the value of facing reality head-on in the story of the prodigal son (Luke 15:11-32).

This acceptance of his reality is what sets him on the path to redemption and restoration.
Similarly, by acknowledging and accepting the reality of our social and economic issues, we lay the groundwork for genuine solutions and progress. Ignoring or denying these realities only serves to perpetuate problems, while acceptance empowers us to take actionable steps towards improvement and change.
