Lusaka, Aug. 15 – Voters should be vigilant and astute, keenly observing the behaviours of politicians who display hyena-like scavenging traits – those who circle around opportunities, waiting to devour the spoils of power without contributing anything meaningful to the welfare of the nation.

Such politicians often lurk in the shadows, feasting on the hard-earned resources of the people, driven by self-interest rather than genuine service. An honorary degree, for instance, no matter how prestigious, should never be mistaken for a license to lead a country.
The corridors of State House are meant for those with a proven track record of integrity, vision, and a commitment to the common good – not for those who merely collect accolades and titles to mask their lack of substance.
