Lusaka, Aug. 11 – Dr. Fred M’membe expressed deep humility upon being granted the solemn privilege of receiving Holy Communion during his time in detention at Twin Palm Police Station.
In his Facebook post, Dr. Fred M’membe conveyed his profound gratitude to the Most Rev. Dr. Alick Banda for administering Holy Communion.
“May I take this opportunity, as a devoted Catholic of 65 years, to express my heartfelt gratitude to The Metropolitan Archbishop of Lusaka, Most Rev. Dr. Alick Banda, for administering Holy Communion to us here at Twin Palm Police Station,” reads his Facebook post.
Dr. M’membe expressed how deeply moved he is by Rev. Dr. Alick Banda’s reverence and unwavering dedication to the sacred sacrament.
“The care with which you bring Christ to us in the Eucharist is truly inspiring and fortifies my faith each time I receive it. Thank you for your steadfast service and for being a vessel through which we encounter the Lord in such a profound way. May God bless you abundantly in your ministry,” his post concluded.
