…as Hon. Tayali’s mirthful mayhem ends in a malicious demolition of a family home, a piercing blow, leaving the family grappling with shock and trauma.

Lusaka, Aug. 2 – In the quiet town of Mwansabombwe, nestled in the heart of Zambia, a young soul finds himself amidst a turbulent storm of emotions. His journey to promote tourism and celebrate the Umutomboko Ceremony is overshadowed by a distressing phone call from his hometown of Ndola.
The news that Mr. Frank Tayali has maliciously demolished their family home is a piercing blow, leaving him grappling with shock and trauma.
The root of this all-consuming anguish lies in a despicable act fueled by greed and a disregard for the law. Unscrupulous individuals sold illegal land to Mr. Tayali, land that rightfully belongs to our protagonist’s family.

Seeking justice, they march forward, placing their trust in the judicial system. With unwavering faith, they hope that the courts will rectify the situation by upholding the truth.
This unwarranted act of demolition did not occur in isolation. Prior to this heartbreaking incident, Mr. Tayali enlisted the help of councilors and his cohorts to intimidate and attack the family’s matriarch while she worked on her farm.
The images of men mercilessly beating a defenseless woman are etched in the mind of our narrator, eternally haunting him. Despite his influence on social media, he chose not to wield that power to retaliate, instead preferring to believe in the efficacy of the court’s judgment.
Yet, as darkness fell upon their lives, and their family home was razed to the ground, their faith in the system wavered. Seeking assistance, our protagonist’s uncle sought refuge in the local authorities, bringing an officer to the scene of the crime.
But it was not the justice they yearned for that they found, but rather merciless brutality. The officer in charge, a mere aid in their quest for justice, faced physical assault, leaving our protagonist’s uncle fleeing for his life.
And in the aftermath, battered caretakers and menacing men armed with machetes were the only remnants of a once-beloved sanctuary.
In the midst of this turmoil, the heartrending plea is directed towards President Hakainde Hichilema, a plea not of a politically inclined individual, but of a lost child seeking solace in a world of power struggles.
Our narrator understands that political strife is not their area of expertise, choosing to focus instead on promoting tourism and sharing the beauty of their land. The cry for help is laden with the fear of tarnishing the nation’s image, addressed to the highest authority in the land.

Appealing for fairness and justice, our young protagonist yearns for an understanding of why someone entrusted with power could stoop so low as to unleash violence upon a defenseless woman, none other than his own mother.
The history of injustice continues to plague their lives; only a month ago, unknown assailants broke into their home, stealing everything, including the hard-earned savings meant for his mother’s business venture. It is a testament to our protagonist’s resilience that they stand tall, pleading for justice through the proper channels, without resorting to disrespecting their elders.
To Mr. Frank Museba Tayali, a Member of Parliament for Ndola Central Constituency, our narrator extends an olive branch, reminding him of their upbringing, rooted in respect for their elders.
Encouraging him to pursue an appeal if he believes he has been wrongly judged, they cling to the hope that the power of the rule of law will prevail. Requesting forgiveness from their loyal followers, our young protagonist feels the weight of the world, unable to fathom the daunting process of rebuilding their demolished home.

And so, they cry. Their sorrow spills onto the pages of this narrative, a plea for attention and justice in a world that seems indifferent to their pain.
In the silence of their tears, the echoes ring loud, resonating with the struggle of countless souls, seeking redress against the injustice that threatens to consume them. It is a cry that seeks unity, compassion, and above all, a glimmer of hope in a desolate landscape.
