“There is no man or woman on earth powerful enough to separate people from the love of God who created all.”
Lusaka, Sept. 10 – Sixth Republican President, Mr. Edgar Chagwa Lungu, has declared that nothing and no one can ever separate him and his family from the love of God.
The former Head of State was speaking when he attended a Church Service at Pentecostal Holiness Church in Garden Compound in Lusaka today.
Yesterday, Police in full riot gear swarmed St. Andrews Church in Ndola to block President Edgar Chagwa Lungu from attending an Inter-denomoninational Church Service because Churches require police permits to hold inter-denominational Fellowship which St. Andrews Church did not obtain.

But President Edgar Lungu has, however, remained unshaken insisting that his whole being is by the grace of God and not that of any man or men. He said that no one at all can force him to turn his back on God for it is by his grace that his entire existence is anchored and not that of any other human beings.
Mr. Lungu encouraged congregants to continue to seek the face of God in all their daily life activities for it is there that strength shall come. The former Head of State recounted how he served the county and all its people to the best of his ability and with strict adherence to God’s guidance.
“Whatever you do to me, you cannot separate me from the love of God. I was born by the grace of God, I became President of this country by the grace of God, I served this country to by best of ability by the grace of God, I left office (State House) by the grace of God and I am still alive today by the grace of God,” Mr. Lungu emphasized.
President Lungu urged the clergy and fellow Christians to intensify prayer for people who through their actions seem to think God does not exist. He said those who don’t believe in the existence of God and His power equally need prayers for they are like lost men at sea.
