The latest case of Kakubo flies right into the face of his lying appointing master, President Hakainde Hichilema, who claims to be fighting corruption when in fact the crusade is one of political persecution of his perceived political enemies.
Lusaka, Dec. 26 – Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Stanley Kakubo, is in a new scandal. He received $200,000 and a luxury Mercedes Benz for the sale of a mine he claimed he owns in Kasempa District.
On 8th July 2022, Kakubo received the last instalment of $50,000 for the mine sale transactions. Kakubo of NRC 235416/68/1 received the money from Zhang Lianan of Lianan Mining Ltd. of Kitwe.

He also signed proof of receipt of the money. A short video was also taken as he was collecting the money. He also collected a Mercedes Benz X Class registration number ADE6952ZM.
On Easter holidays of April 2022, Kakubo was seen leaving Sinoma Cement premises.
After the pictures emerged of him leaving with a noticeably heavy parcel, he claimed it was a calendar and diary he had collected from Sinoma. He couldn’t explain why he was collecting calendars four months after they were distributed.

Kakubo is not the only one collecting questionable US Dollars, even HH’s Principal Private Secretary, Bradford Machila, is believed to have corruptly drawn close to US$250,000 in per diem in the last two years. Before Dr. Dick Sichembe was forced to resign as Auditor General, he had started auditing State House and Bradford Machila was supposed to be questioned on how he drew per diem of more than US$250,000.

“The UPND agenda of institutionalised regionalism and corruption will have people arrested one day, and I will speak one day. In auditing, a paper trail always remains,” Dr. Sichembe.
But maybe let’s shift our attention to how the former Inspector General of Police, Mr. Lemmy Kajoba, lost his job for reporting about the corruption at State House by HH’s Special Assistant for Legal Affairs, Christopher Mundia.
Instead of firing Mundia, President Hakainde Hichilema chose to fire the whistleblower, Lemmy Kajoba!
Mr. Hichilema can fool nobody any longer. A person who can’t tell the nation how he got rich is not a man who can fight corruption!
