As the Zambia Police Service investigates President Hichilema’s political advisor, Levy Ngoma in connection with the abduction of Hon. Emmanuel Jay Banda!
Lusaka, July 20 – The Law Association of Zambia (LAZ) has taken decisive action by suspending the National Assembly Parliamentary Legal Counsel for conduct deemed unethical and criminal. In essence, President Hichilema stands accused of fostering corruption in Zambia. It is imperative to confront this issue directly and decisively.

The LAZ Legal Practitioners Committee has officially suspended Joseph Nombo Sianyabo from practicing law. The Chief Justice, all judicial bodies, and all members of the legal profession have been duly notified.
Meanwhile, the Zambia Police Service is actively investigating Levy Ngoma, the political advisor to President Hichilema, and Trevor Mwiinde, a UPND deputy national youth chairperson, in connection with the abduction of Independent Petauke Member of Parliament, Emmanuel Jay Banda. Court documents have disclosed these developments. However, President Hichilema has yet to take action against his implicated associates.
Hon. Emmanuel Jay Banda has formally accused Levy Ngoma, political advisor to President Hakainde Hichilema; Clayson Hamasaka, State House Chief Communications Specialist; and Trevor Mwiinde, UPND operative, as his abductors.
Emmanuel Mwamba has admonished President Hichilema, highlighting the egregious lawlessness exhibited by Mr. Levy Ngoma, a civil servant, for his active engagement in politics. Mr. Ngoma was recorded declaring his intent to eliminate any opposition to President Hichilema.
Mr. Mwamba asserted that Mr. Ngoma’s threats against the President’s critics amounted to criminal behavior.
“Mr. Levy Ngoma serves as a Special Assistant to the President for Political Affairs at State House. He is a full-fledged civil servant, remunerated by public service funds,” he stated.
